  • How do I activate my debit card?
    • Please call to activate: 1-866-590-4793 and to change PIN Number: 1-800-717-4923. For your security, you must call from the phone number on file with the bank. Customers will need their SSN and business customers will need their EIN number. Businesses should call us (803-733-8100) to get started.
  • How can I check my balance?
    • There are several ways you can view your account balance:
      1. Call 803.733.8100, choose Option 1 and follow instructions. You will need your mobile banking ID and last four digits of your social security number.
      2. If you are in enrolled in web banking, log in to your account at https://xvault.bankoptus.com/login
      3. If you’re not enrolled in web banking: visit optus.bank, click Sign Up or go to https://xvault.bankoptus.com/enroll. You will need your account number, social security number, and driver’s license number. Please note that your identification information needs to match the information we have on file.
      4. You can call us at 803.733.8100 and request to be enrolled in web or mobile banking
  • How do I enroll in online banking?
  • How do I get the mobile banking app on my phone?
    • You can find app store links for android and iOS on the mobile banking page. You can also look for Optus Bank in your app store and click to enroll. Business customers should call us (803-733-8100) to get started.
  • Do you offer mortgages, including 30 year fixed rate?
    • Yes! We offer flexible options to buy, refinance, or use the equity in your home. Check our product pages to see all the different types of loans we offer. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please contact us.
  • How can I report a lost or stolen debit card?
    • Please call 800.383.8000 and follow instructions.

    • Yes! Our accounts are FDIC insured up to $250,000. We also provide additional options to insure deposits larger than $250,000.
